  4. An OtherMenu Extension
  5.  
  6. Sharing Toggle is an extension for James W. Walker’s OtherMenu system extension. OtherMenu must be installed to use Sharing Toggle.

  8. Selecting Sharing Toggle from the OtherMenu menu will invoke Sharing Toggle. Upon invocation, Sharing Toggle checks to see if the File Sharing/Server Extension is installed. If either is installed, Sharing Toggle will check the state of sharing/service and toggle it to its opposite state. The logic used is:

  12. Disabled        Started, followed by eventual Enabled
  13. Starting Up     Disabled
  14. Enabled         Disabled
  15. Shutting Down   Enabled
  16. Error           Error (with an alert to indicate)

  18. Sharing Toggle is a very primative version of my Shaman utility, which offers a great deal more functionality. It is available from major online services and all over the Internet.
